GenoMar Supreme Hatchery China Ltd.
GenoMar Supreme Hatchery China Ltd is one of the world’s largest tilapia hatcheries, located on the island of Hainan in southern China. The company produced and sold approximately 280 million fingerlings in 2007. The company has been 100% owned by GenoMar since late 2005 when GenoMar purchased all shares from its joint venture partner.

Located in Sanjiang on Hainan Island, the warmer climatic condition of this southern part of China is ideal for all year-round hatchery operation.  The farm occupies 43 ha with 180 employees. Our GenoMar Supreme Tilapia fingerling is the fingerling of choice by leading tilapia farmers and processors throughout China who value superior fish genetics for fast growth and high fillet yield, specially targeted for the quality conscious international export markets.

GenoMar Supreme Hatchery China Ltd was awarded the first ever Hainan provincial award for Good Breeding Farm from the China Hainan Ocean & Fisheries Bureau in 2008.  This special award recognizes the company’s leadership role in its significant contribution to the province’s aquaculture industry by providing tilapia fingerlings of the highest quality.
