Ketil Arvesen (born 1958) – Chairman of the Board
Ketil Arvesen has been employed with First Olsen Ltd. since the beginning of 2006 as Vice President Business Development. Before joining First Olsen, Mr. Arvesen had a 15 year career as an investment banker with various firms, among others as Head of Equities with Nordea (1997-2001) and Director Corporate Finance with ABN Amro, Oslo (2002-05). He has extensive experience in many transactions in the shipping and offshore industries from this period. Before his financial career, he spent almost eleven years with the shipping company Klosters Rederi / Vard ASA (1981-92). He is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Business and Economics.
Mr. Arvesen has been Chairman of the Board of GenoMar since 2006. Mr. Arvesen is a Norwegian citizen.

Erik Hempel (born 1947) – Board member
Erik Hempel has a long experience in the international seafood and aquaculture industry, having worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for many years. He has been Director of INFOFISH (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), INFOPECHE (Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire) and INFOSA (Windhoek, Namibia). He has also served as advisor to the Governments of Tanzania, Norway, Malaysia, Singapore and Namibia, and has served as a board member on several seafood companies in Norway and abroad. Erik Hempel is a Norwegian citizen.

Øystein Lie (1947) – Board member
Øystein Lie is Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) for GenoMar AS. Mr. Lie became a professor in animal genetics in 1990, at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Sciences. Graduated Vet Med 1973, PhD (Dr. Med Vet) 1985, visiting professor at the University of California San Diego (Molecular genetics) in 1994-95, founder and chair of international R&D consortium, SALMAP 1994-97, founder of GenoMar AS 1996, CEO GenoMar AS 1996-2004. Øystein Lie is a Norwegian citizen.

Endre Glastad (born 1971) – Board member
Endre Glastad is currently the CEO of Cap Neus, a private investment company. Mr. Glastad has experience from his former career as an investment banker with Carnegie. Mr. Glastad has broad experience serving as a board member in various companies. Glastad holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Business and Economics. Endre Glastad is a Norwegian citizen.

Jan Seiring (born 1954) – Board member
Jan Seiring is advisor to Akvaplan-Niva. Mr. Seiring has over 20 years experience from the management group of Sisomar AS. He has extensive experience from management and Board of directors in the fishery sector. Mr. Seiring graduated Cand Real in marine biology from the University of Tromsø 1982. Jan Seiring is a Norwegian citizen.
